Project Overview Our client’s aging parents live with them in a two-story single family residence in the greater San Diego area. As their parents’ mobility becomes more limited, they’re seeking to create additional living space that caters to their needs.

Proposed Solution We’ve designed a 300 sq. ft. addition on the south end of the property, prioritizing accessibility for the parents. The design includes passive cooling through cross ventilation and vaulted ceilings, ensuring a comfortable living environment. The new space also offers both visual and physical access to the garden and children’s play area, enhancing their connection to the outdoor space.
